Colour Vision Deficiency
Colour vision deficiency (often called colour blindness) is a condition where a person's ability to distinguish between certain colours is reduced. It affects approximately 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women worldwide.
The most common form is red-green colour vision deficiency, which makes it difficult to tell the difference between reds, greens, browns, and oranges. Less common forms affect the ability to distinguish blues and yellows, and in very rare cases a person may not perceive colour at all.
